Community organization awards more than $207,000 to local nonprofits

The Greater Toledo Community Foundation has awarded $207,177 total in grants to 13 different nonprofit organizations around the area.

The foundation distributed the grants from the Andersons Fund Supporting Organization. The grants are awarded annually, primarily for capital projects.

Recipients include the Toledo Zoo, who received $20,000 to resurface the aquarium floor; the Toledo Repertoire Theatre, which received $10,000 to fix issues with a parking lot; and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Toledo, which received $35,000 to assist constructing a youth center and golf facility.
